What causes data loss?
Data loss can be caused by a number of things, such as electronic/mechanical failure, firmware corruption, logical errors, viral infections, or natural disasters.
What is the data recovery process?
Data recovery is a two-step process. First our specialists conduct a free analysis on the storage media to see if the data is recoverable, then we present you with a personal quote. If you want PES Data Recovery to proceed to the next step, our trained technicians have the specialized equipment required to recover your data.
How long does the data recovery process take?
The data recovery process varies from case to case. Some customers can receive their recovered data within a few days, while more complex hard drive problems can take more than a week.
For a personal quote, please fill out our Evaluation Form and a PES Data Recovery specialist will contact you.
Will my data be kept secure and confidential?
Yes! Your privacy is our number one concern. We ensure that your data will remain secure. Only the technician working on your data recovery will have contact with your data. For more information read our Terms of Agreement and Privacy Policy.

How can I prevent data loss?
Data loss can happen to the best of us, usually at the worst possible time. The key to minimizing data loss is to be proactive about the safety of your data. Regular backups will reduce the risk of data loss, and you should keep the backup data in a different location.
Alternatively, Positive E Solutions offers a fast and easy online data backup solution to suit your needs.
